One interesting thing that happens when you first get into the car is that, as the phone is pairing with the Parrot, the radio will undergo a couple of mute cycles. Of course, you can also press the buttons on the teenie-weenie controller or initiate the call on your phone. With the background noise from the convertible, this is problematic at times. If you have multiple numbers for "Dad," it will beep again and you can say "home," "cellular" or "work" to get the right number. After the beep, you can then say "Dad" (assuming you've recorded this voice tag on the Parrot) and the dialing will begin. As long as the road noise is not too great (and your radio is not turned up too loudly), you can speak the word "telephone" and your phone goes off hook. I just stuffed everything behind the radio.sure are a bunch of wires! You still need to be sure and connect one of the bullet connectors to the MUTE wire on the Parrot system. Okay, the Parrot CK3000 Evolution installation is complete! After I received the harness from Crutchfield, it only took me about 5 minutes to pull the radio and connect all the connectors.
